<strong>Zumba Gold</strong> er tilbudet til deg som av en eller annen grunn ikke klarer å henge med på en ordinær Zumbatime. Vi henvender oss til eldre, aktive mennesker, overvektige, nybegynnere og andre som trives med litt mindre intensitet. Zumba Gold er basert på orignalen Zumba, men vi går litt ned i tempo og har mindre hopp og sprett. Det er fremdeles god trening, og vi danser til rytmer som Merengue, Salsa, Cumbia, Mavedans, Flamenco og Tango. Etter noen timer med Zumba Gold vil du merke at det faktisk ikke er så vanskelig å vrikke litt på hoftene og kunne nyte dansen til nydelige latinamerikanske rytmer!</div>

I November 2011 flyttet vi vår virksomhet til Campus Steinkjer og ble en del av Fysioterapi & Trening Campus Steinkjer. Her jobber jeg som gruppetreningsansvarlig og har ansvar for alle timer, timeplanlegging og instruktører.<br />

ZIN står for Zumba Instructor Network og dagen ble ledet av verdens mest kjente Zumba Instruktører; Tanya Beardsly og Gina Grant. Ja, da er det klart det rette stedet å gå. Men det er faktisk flere bonuser ved å bruke alle mulighetene du har der. Her er 5 gode grunner til å begynne nå:<br /><br />1. Styrk skjelett og muskler<br />Ikke bare unngår du å bli sliten i ryggen til hverdags, du blir også i stand til å gjøre mer enn å legge puslespill med barnebarna når den tiden kommer. For det krever mosjon hvis du vil beholde muskelmassen. Beveger du deg for lite, kan det koste deg ca. 250 g muskler for hvert tiår etter at du har fylt 20 år. Er du derimot snill mot musklene, er det stor sjanse for å unngå både benskjørhet og problemer med ryggen.<br /><br /><br />2. Unngå arbeidsskader<br />Allsidig trening på senteret sikrer deg større utholdenhet. Du kan altså holde på lenger uten å bli sliten. På samme måte er tredemøllen og trappemaskinen blitt så teknologiske at du kan velge en treningspuls du ikke vil overstige. Det sikrer at du ikke blir svimmel eller for den saks skyld besvimer av utmattelse. Samtidig bør pulsen din heller ikke være så langt nede at du må varme opp på nytt før neste øvelse. Men begge deler kan du altså taste inn på maskinene slik at de automatisk gir deg den farten som passer deg.<br /><br /><br />5. Få mer selvtillit<br />Mosjon gir deg et utrolig velvære. Selv om du ikke går ned fire buksestørrelser på en måned, vises det i øynene dine at du trener. De er klare og stråler. Og følelsen av velvære forplanter seg snart til måten du går på, til utstrålingen osv. Jo bedre trent du er, desto mer fett forbrenner du under en treningsøkt.<br /><br />Tren kondisjon. Hvis du går ned i vekt ved å endre på kostholdet, vil du miste både fett og en del muskler. Fordelen ved å trene deg ned i vekt er at treningen er muskelbevarende, den sørger for at ikke musklene reduseres, men at fettet må gå. Treningen du skal konsentrere deg om for å redusere fettlagrene, er den treningen som bruker mest mulig kalorier. Det er altså ikke pilates og yoga, men kondisjonstrening som krever mye energi hver gang du trener. Den beste typen trening har tre kjennetegn:<br /><br />1. Trening som bruker størst mulig muskelmasse. Det er da som regel snakk om kondisjonstrening der musklene i bein og rumpe brukes rytmisk gjentagende. Disse er kroppens største muskelgrupper.<br /><br />2. Trening som er vektbærende. Det betyr at du bærer kroppsvekten din mens du trener. Eksempler er gange, stavgang, jogging, aerobic, steptrening.<br /><br />3. Trening med høy intensitet. Det holder ikke at du bare gjennomfører, det må gjøres med skikkelig intensitet. Glem lavintensiv trening med mindre du skal holde på i timevis. De har organisert seg og er desperate etter revansje – og de løper gjerne noen ekstra mil for å sikre seg seieren.<br /><br />Tone Damli Aaberge<br />Tone er ambassadør for alle løpejentene i Norge og selverklært løpegal.
